Che Kurrien: GQ India Editor-in-Chief; Designer mentor

Che Kurrien has been GQ India Editor-In-Chief since the high-profile magazine launched in India in 2008.

Armed with a post-graduate degree in journalism from New York University, Che’s first published article appeared on the Op-Ed page of Newsday, one of the most widely read newspapers in the United States. He has also served as a correspondent with the international news agency Reuters and has had work published in the New York Times, Washing Post and Boston Globe.

On moving back to India, Che worked at the The Indian Express and helped launch TimeOut Mumbai, where he was appointed Assistant Editor.

Che’s work has been published in the New York Times, Washington Post and Boston Globe, and he is married to actress Antara Mali.
