style icon, influential on the global platform.

Since leaving Sydney the mid 90s, Catherine has been based in Paris, working worldwide in
Europe, the U.K, the U.S, Asia, South America & the Middle East.

Graduating from the reputable Studio Berçot in Paris, Catherine debuted at the Chanel
Couture studio, continuing as creative consultant at Ungaro, Givenchy, Cavalli & Balmain.
Also working with independent designers Jeremy Scott, Andre Walker & Marani, amongst
other brands.

Catherine Baba’s cinematic debut designing costumes for Eva Ionesco’s remarkable first film
‘My Little Princess’, starring Isabelle Huppert, earned her a nomination for Best Costumes at
the 2012 Cesars. Since, Catherine has worked exclusively with Laetitia Casta on costumes for
the French films, Arletty, Des lendemains qui chantent & Sous les jupes des filles, as well as
Eva Ionesco’s short film Rosa Mystica. Recently working on all costumes for Sara Forestier’s
directing debut for the French film ‘M’ to be released November 2017.

Catherine has also collaborated with actresses Laetitia Casta, Milla Jovovich, Marisa
Berenson, Kristen Scott Thomas, Monica Bellucci, Rossy de Palma, Charlotte Rampling &
Kylie Minogue, as well as high profile personalities.

Catherine was also designated as one of the judges in the French version of the television
program Project Runway.

As a stylist, Catherine Baba is an acknowledged global style leader having worked on
editorial shoots for major magazines including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar, Elle,
Interview, Glamour, Dazed and Confused, Hunger, Tank, 10, Sorbet, Stiletto, WestEast,
Egoiste amongst others, as well as Advertising campaigns for leading brands like Cartier
(including an epic three day fashion show event at Lancaster House in London, presenting
their L’Inde Mysterieuse high jewelry collection.) Moschino, L’Oreal with celebrated
photographers Mario Testino, Jean Baptiste Mondino, Ellen Von Unwerth, David LaChapelle,
Ali Mahdavi, Katerina Jebb and Irina Ionesco among many.

Catherine Baba has since launched her Lounge wear collection with Nouvelle Affaire,
Costume Jewelry with Gripoix in 2012 and Sunglasses collection with Friend-Of.com at
Colette in Paris & Dover Street Markets in New York City & London in 2015, while
simultaneously continuing to work as a creative director & stylist.
