Alber Elbaz to judge European award

Alber Elbaz, artistic director of the Lanvin House, will judge the European regional award for the International Woolmark Prize on 12 July 2012 at The Hospital Club, Covent Garden, London.

Celebrating 10 years at the helm of the house of Lanvin, Alber Elbaz has been recognized globally for his talent and awarded numerous accolades throughout his career. Alber Elbaz was notably awarded the coveted Grande Médaille de Vermeil de la Ville de Paris, 2009 amongst others and has previously been selected to feature on the TIME 100 list of the most influential people in the world.

Mr Elbaz will be joined on the judging panel by:

  • Alexandra Shulman (British Vogue)
  • Christiane Arp (Vogue Germany)
  • Dean and Dan Caten (Designers, Dsquared2)
  • Giles Deacon (Designer)
  • Tim Blanks (Editor-at-Large, Style.com)

The illustrious panel of global experts will review and select a regional representative from 19 nominees across Europe. The regional representative will attend the global award, which will be held during London Fashion Week in February 2013, where he or she will compete with other finalists from China, USA, India, and Australia.
