Nancy Pilcher has spent 40 years as an icon of Australian fashion. The former VOGUE Australia Editor-In-Chief and Vice President, Editorial Development, of Condé Nast Asia-Pacific has been an international ambassador for Australian fashion and culture. In the role of Vice President, Editorial Development, Condé Nast Asia/Pacific, Nancy was instrumental in launching five Conde Nast titles in Korea as well as supervising the editorial teams on VOGUE and GQ Japan and Taiwan. Nancy is also credited as being responsible for Condé Nast’s successful foray into China, particularly the spectacular launch and growth of VOGUE China and lastly, the launch of VOGUE in Thailand.
Since Nancy has extensive experience working with the various Asian cultures, she has been given the opportunity of mentoring the candidates for the International Wool Prize. Recently she visited Seoul, to work with the designers that will represent the region in both the menswear and womenswear categories for 2015/2016.
